What is Solar PV?
Solar PV is a renewable energy system which uses photovoltaic modules to convert sunlight into electricity. PV gets its name from the process of converting light (photons) to electricity (voltage), which is called the PV effect.
What are STC’s?
Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC’s). This is a scheme developed by the Federal Government to encourage people to install renewable energy systems and assist with affordability for everyone. Commonly referred to as a 'rebate'.
When can you install my system?
Usually within 2 -3 weeks.
How long will it take to install my system?
Usually 1 day for an install dependent on weather (wind and rain).
Do you do new home installs?
Yes. A pre wire and fit off can be advantageous for customers reducing cabling exposure.
Do you offer a Product and Workmanship Warranty?
Yes. Coastal Solar offer an Industry Standard Warranty on equipment and a 12 month workmanship warranty.

As electricity prices continue to rise, investing in a battery storage system can enhance your Solar PV investment. Your Solar PV is capable of charging batteries which can be utilised for your family's electricity during your peak time of use.
